Golden Sunset- Silver Point

As I understand it, Silver Point’s name originates from the appearance of the ocean on sunny afternoons. Well it turns to gold as well on calm evenings as the sun sets. If its solitude you seek you can usually find some even on busy summer days just beyond this point. These sea stacks bookend the southern boundary of sandy shoreline known as Cannon Beach.
