Windblown

Most of the streets in my little home town dead end at the ocean. Just a quick glance down one of those streets with the wind blowing the tops off the breakers inspired this painting. The spindrift illuminated by the sun sinking into the sea added the sizzle and the gulls blown about give everything scale and complete the story in my humble opinion.
