Walk Gently

For some of us, there’s nothing more soothing than walking the edge of the mighty pacific when its gentle side is evident. I’ve lived along the Oregon Coast for well over 50 years and have seen the ocean so ‘lake like’ it’s hard to believe it’s the ocean. Conversely, there are days when no one would survive a walk on the beach, but this was not one of those days. At some point in the process of every painting I find myself praying, “I don’t know who this painting is for, but you do Lord so please help me to paint it”. So, if this painting is for you, either to enjoy or own, be thankful, it was painted for you.
