Summer Swell

Regardless of the hemisphere, compared to the rest of the seasons, the ocean is consistently much calmer during the summer months. The water temperatures are generally more user friendly as well, so when we get one of our summer swells, the lifeguards become jumpy, and the surf community gets downright giddy.
