Jeffrey Hull Gallery hosted a special horizontal tasting of 2010 Patricia Green Pinot Noirs for the 2021 festival.

We lost celebrated Oregon winemaker Patricia Green in 2017 and we’ve had this horizontal of 2010 Patricia Green Pinot Noir cellared to honor her on a special occasion and this was it! Guests tasted taste six different site-specific Patricia Green Pinot Noirs from that vintage including three wines from marine sedimentary soil and three wines from volcanic soil. Marine sedimentary wines included Ribbon Ridge Estate, Whistling Ridge and Marine Sedimentary designate. Volcanic soil wines included Balcome Block 1B, Eason and Volcanic designate. This was a rare opportunity to taste a six wine horizontal of 11-year-old Pinot Noir from one of Oregon’s most loved winemakers. During the tasting, Jeff shared six of his favorite paintings and discussed why they’re so important to him.
