For 2021, Savor Cannon Beach will be a month-long series of intimate and exclusive wine and culinary events throughout the month of October. You’re invited to a series of festival events including premium pre-dinner wine tasting experiences, wine and art events in the galleries, and a weekly series of fun and educational wine tastings.
Jeffrey Hull Gallery will host a special horizontal tasting of 2010 Patricia Green Pinot Noirs on October 9, 5:30-7pm.
We lost celebrated Oregon winemaker Patricia Green in 2017 and we’ve had this horizontal of 2010 Patricia Green Pinot Noir cellared to honor her on a special occasion and this is it! You’ll taste six different site-specific Patricia Green Pinot Noirs from that vintage that will include three wines from marine sedimentary soil and three wines from volcanic soil. Marine sedimentary wines include Ribbon Ridge Estate, Whistling Ridge and Marine Sedimentary designate. Volcanic soil wines will include Balcome Block 1B, Eason and Volcanic designate. This is a rare opportunity to taste a six wine horizontal of 11-year-old Pinot Noir from one of Oregon’s most loved winemakers. During the tasting, Jeff will share six of his favorite paintings and discuss why they’re so important to him.
