Within Oswald West State Park on the north Oregon Coast sits Short Sands Beach. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love this special cove. There are trails to hike, natural beauty galore and good surf for beginners and experts alike. Three trails wander through deep forest before opening up on this beautiful sandy beach. When you reach this part of the middle trail you can see the ocean for the first time.
