Out Of The Mystic
One of the ways I manage the worries and stresses of life is by starting almost every day walking between the edge of the land and edge of sea. It helps me keep things in perspective.
I’ve been inching my way toward painting this subject in watercolor for a decade or two. Additionally, I spent quite a bit of time staring at this painting, nearly completed, until realizing what was needed to finish it. There have been countless mornings that looked just like this, so inspiration has been simmering for a long time. The title is a nod to my one of my favorite Van Morrison’s songs, “Into The Mystic”.
