Limbs & Breaker

As an early riser, I’m often walking near the edge of the sea when the day’s first rays of sunlight illuminate the breakers. My gaze locks in, and I can’t keep my eyes off them. It’s a wonderful, peaceful time of day that is always special. Additionally, as an artist, I find myself subconsciously searching for repetitive shapes, patterns and design elements that unify my paintings by adding something unique. At this point it’s a well-formed habit. These spruce limbs added what I was after.
