Evening Vine Maple

The colors of fall fuel my inspiration whether in my back yard, the forest or driving along the highway. Interestingly the color red is the first thing our eye picks out in life or art. Knowing this helps an artist lead the viewer’s eye through the composition. I spritzed gold pigment over this watercolor as I neared the end of this painting to give the atmosphere a little sparkle.
