As Rain Falls
As a painter I’ve learned to love the stormy days on the coast and the inspiration I glean from them. I wanted to give the viewer the impression of being inside looking out as weather is approaching. This watercolor is framed with Museum Glass that I carefully applied drops of resin to on the inside of the glass. I developed this technique a few years ago and from time to time plan it into the painting knowing it will enable the viewer feel they are looking through a window with raindrops on it. Here’s how it looks framed.
