Ahead Of The Rain

I regularly walk this side of Elk Creek, often in the mornings and whenever possible before the forecasted rain and wind arrives. One of the things I love about our tidal rivers is there is always something happening. On this morning everything was quiet and calm as the tide slowly emptied the mix of fresh and salty water back into the sea.
